Caramel Popcorn Clusters

1 c. butter

1 1/2 c. sugar

1/2 c. corn syrup

1 t. vanilla

12 c. popped popcorn

In a medium saucepan bring to boil the butter, sugar and corn syrup.  Boil 3 minutes until thickened and lightly browned, stirring frequently.  Remove from heat and add the vanilla.  Stir until combined.

Pour over prepared popcorn, stir until popcorn is evenly coated.  Pour popcorn over two greased sheet pans, keeping the popcorn in a single layer.  Let cool.

Break into bite sized chunks and serve in a bowl .
